For this project, I created a vibrant, dynamic poster celebrating the legacy of jazz legend Dave Brubeck. The design incorporates rhythmic, swirling lines and bold colors to capture the energy of jazz music. I played with typography to mirror the improvisational nature of jazz, giving the poster a sense of movement and spontaneity. This design was all about evoking the joy and creativity of Brubeck’s music. I initially created various abstract collages with dyed paper that I then used to create the essence and elements within the poster design, I also used my own handwriting and musical illustrations as well to add more to this abstracted collage.
