For the Quetzal infographic, my goal was to raise awareness about the endangered species in a visually engaging way. The infographic was rich with vibrant colors, mimicking the bird’s stunning plumage. I created a lot of digital paintings of the bird and its environment to match my idea further. I carefully balanced these visuals with important data on the species’ declining population and the environmental threats it faces as well as including the story we were meant to compare it to as a methaphor. Through the use of illustrations and clear typography, I aimed to create a piece that was both educational and eye-catching, helping to convey the urgency of the conservation efforts.
